“Rose in a Moonlit Forest”

(Previously titled “Blooming Through”: painted for a charity auction to benefit autism)

This art was created for a charity auction to benefit families with children who have autism. Natalie imagined the autistic mind like a solitary rose growing against all odds inside a stone wall, surrounded by an environment that is quiet, dark, and yet when the moon shines- a brief, perhaps rare, light- is mysteriously beautiful.

“Rose in a Moonlit Forest” is included in the collection “50 Oil Paintings Inspired by Nature“.
