Painting on my New Electric Guitar! ROAR!

I’m painting on my very OWN electric guitar this time!!! WOOT! I’d never played an electric guitar before, but who can resist this cherry red beauty? I struggled with a little bit of indecision about what to paint on it, knowing that whatever I did to it I would be stuck with, as this is my own guitar to play! I love lions, and they inspire me spiritually in my Christian faith also.

The lion painting is very small, about an inch and a half circumference. That’s crazy, considering that I’ve been painting on 5 feet by 4 feet canvases for big stage events! Now, I’m using tiny detail brushes with bristle points not much bigger than a pin head!

I’m usually an oil painter, but acrylics are better for painting on musical instruments. I love my new painting journey involving instruments, and next I’ll play this electric guitar, as I’m also learning how to play the guitar – if you’ve been following my progress, I’m still improving on acoustic and now this will be my first time doing an electric guitar video!
