Painting Shows

Current painting shows are HERE, a permanent page that regularly updates with new shows.

Original blog post from April 2020 below.

Show is now ready for viewing!

Easter Special – 30 minute show devoted to painting three canvases at once, to create a panoramic landscape representing The Trinity. Each painting stands alone: painting panel one “The Father”, two “The Son”, three “The Holy Spirit”. Watch this now on BitChute, on YouTube (YouTube version is the video above) and hopefully soon the video player for this website will cooperate (it is very nice quality, but the file may be too large to host here).

Natalie begins the show with opening words of encouragement, followed by introducing the painting concept and singing traditional hymn “Holy, Holy, Holy”. After the opening, and for the duration of the show, the camera is zoomed on the canvas as Natalie paints The Trinity landscape painting. The painting sessions are time-lapsed to speed the video in some areas (various speeds, sometimes faster, sometimes slower), while other sections are shown in real time, actual speed (“live”, but previously recorded). Lyrics on screen for hymn song service.

Show Features: painting, voice-over narration, captions for the hearing impaired (and for clarity), acapella singing of familiar hymns to celebrate Easter. All phases of this production by artist Natalie Buske Thomas.

From Natalie: “Knowing how sad it may be for people to miss church on Easter Sunday, perhaps for the first time ever in their lives, I want to step up and do something special. May my show encourage you and give you hope that church services will soon resume, and when they do, the world will see faith through fresh spiritual eyes. This is an Easter like none other. Revival! He LIVES!”

This is a pioneering experience- no one has ever done an Easter show quite like this.

To be aired on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020.

Live Painting Shows

Live painting shows with narration, singing, and interaction with guests in the chatroom and are hosted on Periscope. Each show is approximately 30-45 minutes and features one session of a larger oil painting project that typically takes 1-3 days to complete. Large canvases may take several weeks to complete.

The next scheduled Periscope is set for Saturday, May 2, 2020 at 2:00PM, and will continue weekly thereafter. Episodes and links will appear on this page.

Live Painting Shows, Tour

Natalie is in the planning stages of scheduling a live painting tour. Events feature a pre-show “meet and greet” session. Guests are invited to view Natalie’s original collection of nearly 200 oil paintings and chat with the artist. The main show features live painting of 1-3 fast oil painting projects, for approximately an hour of entertainment. Post-show events may include workshops, sales, signings, catering/food, and/or other activities. Total event time depends on the venue and desired optional events (2 hours up to 6 hours). If your organization may be interested in hosting a show, please contact Natalie at
