As an update to my Easter Show 2026 video from last weekend, when I gave you a tour of my garden at the end – you know that strawberry patch I was so excited about, and how I zoomed in on the beautiful red strawberry? SOMETHING got to it first! GRR!
How I caught him: when I noticed a plump shiny skink just hangin’ out among my green onions, I tossed him a strawberry to see if he’d go for it. It took him only a second to pounce on it and dig right in! Mystery solved, ugh! Turns out skinks LOVE strawberries and I’ll have to cage my strawberry patch to keep him out of the berries. sigh, always somethin’…
