This waterfall was painted as an imaginary landscape, but was inspired by a real waterfall in Northern Wisconsin (no flowers were at the real location, but the rest of the scene looked similar to this). “Waterfall Flowers” is included in the collection “50 Oil Paintings Inspired by Nature“
